As an elementary school-teacher for over two decades, and while in her favorite role as an innovation and STEM teacher, Emily realized a shift in children’s literature, bringing to light the real-life stories of brave women doing awesome things to change the world. The stories didn’t always fit into the school curriculum, but Emily knew these stories needed to be shared!
The Big Dreams Bloom Program
The movement to support women in STEM fields is one that Emily believes in and knows that developing a love for science, technology, engineering, art, and math begins at a young age.
Emily had a light bulb moment: create quality, interactive group discussions and activities for young ladies with a focus on trailblazers from HERstory...Big Dreams Bloom was born!
The Vision
Emily wanted to create a space where girls could hear the stories of these brave women who came before them and be inspired to see themselves as someone who can grow up to change the world.
Our Founder
Emily loves to spend time with her family. She and her husband love travelling, cooking healthy foods, and keeping up with all the activities and interests of their two teenage boys. As parents, they are in the business of raising good humans.
Emily is a big fan of coffee dates with friends, and all things cozy. Her ten-year-old self would have loved Big Dreams Bloom, and with that in mind each day, she loves creating something that little girls (and their parents) love and look forward to!
